Frozen Lime Asia starts off 2019 with its latest addition - The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur!


The FLA sales team visited The Saujana Kuala Lumpur, located in Selangor, Malaysia, over the weekend and found it an excellent venue for corporate meetings and events.

The Saujana derives it's name from an old Malay expression, which translates to English as "as far as the eye can see".  A fitting name for 160 hectares of majestic grounds and lush tropical gardens with a tranquil lake. Located just 5 minutes away from Subang Skypark and 35 minutes from KLIA, it is a 355-room, five-star property with a ballroom and 17 meeting rooms that can host up to 700 guests in one seating. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the courteous and friendly front desk team and escorted to our spacious,  newly refurbished Executive Deluxe rooms. All rooms have a serene view of either the garden, pool or lake. If a private boardroom meeting is preferred in the comfort of the room, guests can opt for Suites with a living room that can accommodate up to 8 persons for a boardroom-style meeting. Guests staying at The Saujana Suite, can enjoy many complimentary benefits, which includes private breakfast, cocktails and canapés and complimentary cocktails from 5pm to 7pm at The Lounge. 

A wide variety of dining are available at The Saujana. There is Kogetsu, serving authentic Japanese cuisine, Italian restaurant Senja, Ti Chen for Dim Sum & Cantonese cuisine and Charcoal for perfectly grilled steaks and a good selection of Peranakan dishes. We had the opportunity to dine at all the restaurants mentioned and was impressed by the impeccable food, service and ambiance each restaurant offered. The Frozen Lime sales team was hosted to a sumptuous dinner at Ti Chen graced by Uma Muthalu, the Public Relations Manager of the hotel. 

Ti Chen is a tastefully designed fine dining restaurant with a blend of modern and Oriental design. The lovely setting of the restaurant next to a lake just adds to the charm. Melodious  music from a live band, playing traditional-meets-contemporary music enhances the dining experience on every Wednesday to Sunday evenings. The team sampled the restaurant's signature dishes such as smoked duck, black garlic soup, and steamed and fried sea bass. The black garlic soup is nourishment for the soul, black garlic has anti-oxidant properties and Chef Lim uses only Korean black garlic.  As for the smoked duck, it is intricately prepared to retain its succulency while brimming with smoked flavor, paired with a well-concocted green chili sauce. Our evening was completed with the attention to details synonymous with The Saujana’s 5-star standards. Ti Chen ranks high in many discerning food connoisseurs' reviews online. 

The property makes an extremely conducive venue for meetings and conferences, with a divisible Grand Ballroom and 17 pillar-free meeting rooms with natural daylight.
