Frozen Lime Team takes in the charms of The Pavilions Bali

The Pavilions Bali

A few of our colleagues headed down to Bali last week for some client meetings, and here’s one of them writing about her stay experience!

Over to you Adelina…

The Pavilions Bali is located in Sanur on the east coast of South Bali. Sanur, a charming town which exudes a feeling of relaxation with its laidback coastal beach and hints of Bali in the yesteryears, is an accessible 30-minute drive from Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport.

The arrival was a total surprise and delight! Beyond the unassuming entrance to The Pavilions Bali, we drove through an arched bamboo pathway that leads to the reception area and it felt like we were stepping into a mystical world!

Warm smiles greeted us at reception, and we were treated to refreshing lemongrass drinks. We were then presented with a choice of 5 soap bars (Citronella, Organic Volcanic, Tea Tree, Spices and Cocomoco) and showed to our villas.

A special personalized touch to the stay was a sign with my surname at the villa entrance, just as if I were arriving home!

The spacious villa consists of a private pool, lush tropical garden, sundecks, a conservatory living area, a bedroom with a romantic canopy bed, indoor shower area, double vanity and an outdoor bath which was prepared with lovely rose petals.

There is also a small kitchenette where one can prepare simple meals or make coffee/tea. Wi-Fi is freely available throughout the resort for those who need to remain connected!

I must say that each villa is thoughtfully designed to maintain exclusivity with its own entrance, walled garden, and private butler service.

In-villa breakfast is served every morning with your selected breakfast laid out at the time of your choice. You get a good mix of western and local options.

Besides in-villa dining, one can also experience authentic Balinese cuisine at the main restaurant Jahe. One of their signature dining experiences – ‘Island of the Gods’ is an interesting array of 8 dishes served on a platter eaten with traditional Nasi Kuning. This al-fresco dining area with private gazebos is transformed into a romantic candlelit dining experience at dinner.

Cocktails and light refreshments are available at the Poolside Cafe and Bar. A perfect place to relax, or enjoy a cool dip in the pool whilst birdsong and soothing water fountains calm your soul.

For a truly divine spa indulgence, The Pavilions Spa offers all manner of natural and ayurvedic massages, healing therapies and beauty treatments. It also has an open yoga studio with healing yoga sessions.

The Pavilions Bali – a beautiful, blissful and exotic Bali dream for those seeking a relaxing and romantic getaway.

I truly recommend it.
